Dr Sharyn Donaldson graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986 and began her medical career as a resident at Toowoomba Base Hospital. She later commenced physician training in Brisbane before returning to Toowoomba in 1992 to raise her family.

In 1993, Dr. Donaldson attained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) while working part-time in General Practice.

She is now part of the team at Breast Health Toowoomba, where she specialises in the complexities of breast cancer and breast health.

Dr Donaldson also serves as Chair of Blush Cancer Care Inc, a local charity dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients across the Darling Downs which celebrates its 10th birthday in 2025.
